About the Course

This course will, in shaa Allah, cover the opening chapters of “the Book of Transactions” as found in Manhaj as-Saalikeen, a primer in Islamic Jurisprudence written by the erudite scholar Abdur Rahmaan ibn Naasir as-Sa’di (may Allah have mercy on him). The topics that will be covered are the “Conditions of Transactions” and “Forward Purchases”.

Why this Course
Business transactions are an every-day reality for the vast majority Muslims. As such, the knowledge of what constitutes a valid transaction in Islam is essential in order to prevent ourselves from falling into that which is prohibited. This course will provide the student with an overview of how Islamic Jurisprudence deals with transactions.
