Muscat: The second Islamic bank in Oman is set to see a soft launch on September 15, 2013 after receiving the approval from the Central Bank of Oman. Alizz Islamic Bank is to start full operation by end of September.
Alizz is the second Islamic bank to operate in Oman. Bank Nizwa which started its operation early this year was the first Islamic bank in Oman.
