Malaysian brand, Brahim’s Holdings Bhd has inked an agreement with ANA Holdings Inc to produce halaal Japanese cuisine for in-flight catering in Japan.
The deal will may also result in a joint-venture halal flight kitchen in Narita and Haneda Airports in Tokyo, Japan.
“The objective of the agreement is to form a strategic business alliance and business collaboration to explore ways and draw on the inherent synergies of the respective parties,” Brahim’s told Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
Additionally, both parties hopes to gain new market share in halal flight catering, increased distribution and positioning in the Asia Pacific region to tap the halal food market in both Japan and Malaysia and other parts of Asia.
